A No-Jump Indicator (NJI) Board is required to be used with the take-off board and fits onto the steel backing plate.

This is a replacement NJI board with steel backing for strength and stability.

Replacement No Jump Indicator Board Options 

  • Plasticine style:
    • Features a step for plasticine to be inserted along the edge for visual determination of whether the toe is over the take-off board.  This type of board is still suitable for use at tracks without video set-up.  
  • Wooden style:
    • A World Athletics Rule Addition was introduced in 2023 to allow for video assessment of no-jumps.  Boards for this type of No-Jump indicator have a plain black timber top.  A video camera set up is required. No plasticine is required.
