Starting Blocks
All our starting blocks are adjustable forward and backward for foot separation and have adjustable angles for the footplates. The blocks are secured to the synthetic tracks by 9mm or 11mm spikes underneath and may be used on grass if 6" nails are put through holes in the centre plates. All have a synthetic polymer pad on the footplate.

Numbers 1 and 3 suitable for heavier/stronger athletes
Number 2 suitable for stronger male or female athletes - probably the heaviest needed for ladies.
Numbers 3 to 5 good hard wearing reliable and poplar blocks for the majority of athletes.
Number 4 single fixing for footplates.
Number 6 carry as one unit - nothing to leave behind!
Number 6 lighter weight for youngsters.
Stability. If the track surface at the start is worn and uneven a 2-point footplate fixing is better, number 4 has only 1 fixing point.
Starting block bags

These are available in four sizes (70 x 40cm 86 x 35cm, 93 x 40, 100 X 43). Please state the model of blocks (or if not our standard range give length and max width) when ordering. The fabric is a synthetic fibre and the bag has a "Velcro" fastening to the top, full support grip handles and a rigid cushioned base. There is a range of colours (black, yellow, navy blue, royal blue, green, red, orange, purple and bronze) all with black handles.
