(a)  Galvanised steel square section posts 7m walls and 10m gates 2006 IAAF rules. Steel square section posts 7m high hinged for removal and maintenance. Fitted with net lowering system for ease of maintenance and safety, heavy duty knotlesss netting. Front posts 10m high.



(b)  Galvanised steel similar to (a) above but with 9m gates, fibre netting.(UKA rules)


(c)  Galvanised steel with a double fibre netting. Main uprights are 80mm tube with telescopic top pieces 60mm tube.  The gates are built from 50mm tube and 40mm square section.  The netting is knotless and has two layers some 15cm apart to give better protection against wayward implements.    

 

 

Cages to earlier BAF (& IAAF) specification(NB UKA rules require all hammer cages to be 9m gates by 2008)

(d)  Steel construction posts 5m, fibre net use for discus only

(e)  "School" cages steel construction 4m (for discus)

(f)  "School" cage 3.3m height (for discus)

Re-placement Netting

Netting and cages are fabricated to order so are not available for next day delivery. Cages are about 6 weeks due to the need to have the units galvanised once made and the netting is about 3 weeks.
